Textile artist and print-maker Pat Simms will be our window display for November 🙂
On Remembrance Day 2018, our featured window display will be a powerful collection of paintings by David De Souza. David was badly injured in combat, and has used art as his rehabilitation. David will be coming into the People’s Gallery next year to talk about his experiences, and we will be featuring one of his works as our main page image in November. Here is a sneak preview of his work…
Everybody is welcome, and we look forward to new artists joining us at this unique gallery. If you are interested please give us a call, email, or message us through our Facebook page and be part of the amazing local artistic community!
We aim to update our ‘Browse Art’ section weekly with a selection of what is for sale at the gallery.
A reminder that we have members of The People’s Gallery that are currently exhibiting paintings as part of The Oldham Open 2017. Prints are available of all these paintings, please inquire by email or give us a call.
Members Cliff Murphy, Tara Bush, Gordon Clegg, Robert Lees and Kevin Haynes all had work accepted into the Open – here are some of their paintings:
Did you know we have seven resident artists? Here is Pat Simms our newly installed resident textile artist. Come along and see her work!
