We had a fantastic time this weekend with Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham who was at the gallery this Friday promoting the works of our talented local artists. Andy had a good look round at all the artwork, and met with local artists too. Jonathan Reynolds MP was also here, and he was impressed by all the art 🙂
Hello art lovers! We will soon be looking forward to the 20th Anniversary of The People’s Gallery! To celebrate this event, we will be hosting a special afternoon at the gallery on Friday 21st June from 12pm, where Manchester’s Mayor Andy Burnham will be here to help us celebrate, along with other guests. There will be a special window display from our favorite local artists, (list to follow) and this will also follow on for a month, so no excuses not to come along! Please spread the word –there will be refreshments too – so you can have a cheeky glass of wine whilst viewing some beautiful artworks! More to come…
